When she was only 3 weeks old, Annabelle decided she was her father’s daughter. She really loves her dad and her dad loves her too.
“It’s like a bond that you really can’t explain,” Annabelle’s father told GeoAnimals.
Annabelle was assigned to her current family after they decided to place her mother in a foster care facility while she was pregnant.
Annabelle’s biological mother was taken to a local shelter a week before her birth.
So Annabelle’s human family welcomed her.
She gave birth to 12 puppies, including siblings Annabelle and Norman. Annabelle’s adoptive family has no intention of adopting these dogs until they fall in love.

Annabelle became the daughter of a father, and her mother and youngest daughter both loved Norman.
So they adopted them both and gave them a permanent home.
“She’s the prettiest girl with blue eyes,” my father said.

He will growl at Annabelle, and she will surely love him and kiss him in the face. When she wants love and attention, it’s dad. They’re just two peas in a pod,” Mom said.
But Annabelle also had a particularly strong relationship with her brother Norman.
“Norman and Annabelle had a connection that we didn’t notice at first,” said Mom.
You can see Annabelle climbing over her sibling’s cuddly puddle just to get closer to Norman in their newborn baby video.

When Annabelle had to go to the vet, Norman was distraught.
He waited at the window and didn’t move until his sister came home.
He was very happy when she finally arrived home unharmed.
“Norman is a very curious guy. He’s just a big giant who always makes us laugh,” Mom said. “Annabelle is completely reserved. Everything has to come in its own way, in its own time.
Annabelle is not a fan of many people but she is more open and meets more people.
“We took her on a family trip, she met so many different people and she was amazing, surprising us. We’ve really come a long way,” Mom said.

When Annabelle and Norman are at home, they love to play on the pool deck.
That’s because it’s muddy down there and they love to roll around in it and get dirty.
But my dad doesn’t like that. He doesn’t like having to give his dog a mud bath.
But they still do. Although Dad tried to block the entrance, these identified dogs still found their way. And they seemed to be having so much fun that Dad didn’t really get mad.
Parents hope Annabelle and Norman’s story will help stigmatize bullies.
