We are all aware that cats often have a significant self-regard.
If our small pet cats had the power to choose, they would prefer to be revered by us even more intensely than the ancient Egyptians revered them.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the self-assured feline was filled with pure joy upon realizing that a statue depicting him had been erected.
At last, the acknowledgment of Cosmo’s greatness was starting to emerge.
Cosmo’s mother, Jenny Salzer, had bought the statue from Goodwill and it had unexpectedly appeared on the steps in front of their house.
As reported by The Dodo, while casually exploring the thrift store, she stumbled upon a black cat statue that bore a striking resemblance to her adored cat Cosmo.
Despite being a bit worn and scraped, its uncanny resemblance to Cosmo convinced her to buy it, which she subsequently did.
After arriving home, she casually left the small doppelganger on the steps that led to her house, without dwelling on it much further.
While Cosmo typically stays indoors, he occasionally likes to have supervised play sessions in the yard.
The day following Salzer’s acquisition of the sculpture, she allowed Cosmo to go out and enjoy himself, and it was then that he stumbled upon the grand statue depicting his own likeness.
Immediately, Cosmo was captivated by the statue and proceeded to smell it intensely while also rubbing his body against it.
Now, whenever he goes out to have fun, he dedicates some time to socializing with his identical twin made of stone.
Currently, he has also begun embracing it by encircling his small paws around it.
Salzer and Cosmo are extremely satisfied with their impulsive purchase, which can undoubtedly be considered a great success.
