Left alone outside, pets survive difficult under many circumstances. Lack of food supplies, harsh environmental conditions and diseases will attack and topple them. In desperation, these helpless creatures don’t know where to turn or where to go. They patiently wait for their end to come closer and closer. All they wanted back then was our help.

In early September 2022, when it was still very hot outside, a St. Louis, MO reported a black dog on the local street to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis. The rescue team requested immediate photos and decided to keep an eye on him.

Donna Lochmann, the organization’s rescue operations manager, rushed to find the poor dog. When the water was boiling, he lay alone next to the dirty water from the gutter and looked desperate, with no strength or hope for the future.

The heartbreaking image urges Donna to save him immediately. Realizing she was approaching him, the black dog with ribs and hips watching from a distance got up and obediently followed her. When Donna drove him to the shelter, the guy was enjoying the ride with the cold air in the car.

The rescue team named the boy Curby and uploaded a video of him on their Facebook page, shortly after an animal loving couple saw the video and thought the furry little boy deserved a loving home. love for you. His wife Ashley came to adopt Curby as soon as he was ready.

After a month in foster care, Curby gained weight, gained confidence, and became the happiest, funniest man around. Plus, he has a new dog brother and is gently trained to follow some easy commands.
