After Nicola Coyle retired from her nursing career, she decided to dedicate all her time and effort to taking care of dogs, particularly those who were left alone during their final days.
In Mansfield, England, she established Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice with the intention of giving an abundance of affection to these dogs.

Nicola is unable to tolerate the idea of dogs spending their final days in a shelter without the affection they deserve, as a result she provides them with a home. Any dog with a life expectancy of six months or less, or any dog that is on the euthanasia list, is eligible for consideration.
She prepares a list of items for each dog that she welcomes into her house, and it always consists of enjoying a steak meal at the nearby pub and going for a beach outing!
At the moment, Nicola takes care of two to three dogs simultaneously and organizes foster families for additional ones. Regardless of the remaining time these dogs have, Nicola is committed to maximizing every moment.
