Ruby, a Doberman Pinscher, resides with Brittany Callan, her owner, in the town of Geneseo, located in upstate New York. Merely seven days following the birth of six puppies, she warmly embraced and nurtured a forsaken infant kitten as though it were one of her own offspring.

Callan discovered a kitten named Ramblin’ Rose hiding in the grass. Upon encountering the stray kitten, she immediately recollected Ruby, who had recently given birth to a litter of puppies. She brought the small, visually impaired infant to her house, expecting that Ruby’s nurturing instincts would be activated upon seeing the vulnerable kitten. Luckily, it was successful. Ruby licked Rose with the affection of a mother.

Callan informed Daily Paws that Ruby immediately bonded with the person mentioned in the conversation, showing no signs of discomfort.

Callan mentioned that Ruby had been raised alongside smaller animals and had been taught to treat them kindly by licking them and being amicable towards them. Callan described Ruby as an exceptionally compassionate dog.

The current situation is that Rose has successfully adjusted and adapted to living together with Ruby and her puppies. She has a deep affection for her recently acquired puppy sibling(s).

The kitten is also loved by Ruby as well as her puppies. Ruby goes as far as holding her in her mouth and moving around in the house. At night, they cuddle and sleep in each other’s embrace like a small familial unit.
